Remember this was the late sixties. Remember this was when shows were sweet and wholesome and everything looked like "Disney"! Doris Day fans will love this. She sings songs that are not available on record. She looks great and duets with Perry Como, but the real treat, the not to be missed treat, is the outtakes. These show that Doris is exactly the same onscreen as offscreen...... a perfectly natural performer who smiles when things go wrong in take sixteen! She sings extremely well and covers her main hits in up to date(for the sixties) arrangements. It's the phoney sets that will make you smile. The main one reminds me of "The Wizard of Oz" complete with orange brick road. ....and why does Perry Como throw his suit in the pond at the end credits???? I did love the outtakes and so will you....so sit back, put it on, and enjoy....not only a wealth of nostalgia but a professional singer at her best. Yes.
