This is an excellent album which shows Morrison at his peak but beware this album has exactly the same,but more music on this one as 'Absolutely Live'.So I think this album is considerably better.

The Doors were great on record, but awesome live. This is an excellent collection of The Doors doing what they did best. Highly recommended....

My girlfriend, friends and family let out a big sigh and roll their eyes in mock amusement when I start a sentence 'The Doors concerts in New York are the best live performances ever........'
They know it is going to be the begining of a 10 minute monologue about how when the door are in this kind of form they are unstoppable, dynamic, hypnotic...blah blah blah'.
I'll save you the time and simply say 'buy it now'.
This has everything Absolutely Live has and more. The performance are also duplicated on the doors box set, however if you are any kind of doors fan that should be on your shopping list too for the amazing studio versions of 'Queen of the Highway' and 'Moonlight Drive' alone.
Listen to Robbie's solo on '5 to 1' it still has an electrifying effect on me and I have listen to the album 100's of times.

"In concert" is a mix of three live cd's from the Doors live, there are so many live recordings available but the Doors (three)choose these songs. Read more
