By J. A. Walls VINE™ VOICE
Format:Hardcover
When Josh hears of his sisters death across the Atlantic in London, he visits England himself with his girlfriend to see if they can assist the police in any way.

What they find will haunt them forever.

In Graham Mastertons eagerly awaited new novel the reader is faced with not only new dimensions in terror but also in, well, new dimensions!

The story starts with a nursery rhyme which is infact the instructions to secret dimensions known only to a few, with these instructions it is possible to enter a parralel London similiar but sometimes very different.

The ideal place to vanish for a couple of months, just like Josh's sister, so why was she murdered and then found in our London?

Because of the infinite amounts of descisons made everyday, there are infact infinite numbers of these Parralel Londons. Some may be exactly the same except for the colour of the taxis, some may be flooded like Venice, or some may be run by fundamental religious zealots called the Hoodies!

And they know your coming!!!

The characters in this book are so life like, so real, that within a short time, the reader is sucked in to the surroundings of the people within the book, this is something which doesn't happen often, but happens almost immediately in The Doorkeepers.

I strongly urge this book to all who are interested in horror novels and Sci-fi.

What you will read will be both terrifying and completely absorbing, and it won't end until the very last page.

As a lapsed fan (haven't had time to read for quite a while) I found that Masterton has been busy in my absence!
This is the first of 7 new books I have ordered from Amazon.I found this book riveting and just couldn't put it down until I had finished.Absolutely brilliant, the pace of the book keeps you glued to your seat.
Warning......don't start this book unless you have time to finish it!!

thoughtful
Although not as hardcore as most of his work, this is a thoughtful foray into the horror / sci fi hybrid. Read more

Diabolical
Pointless story about parallel Londons and a brigade of deviants in Hessian masks. This is not even worthy to be classed as horror, as it never chills in the slightests degree. Read more

Disappointing ending
Actually, maybe "puzzling ending" would be a better title. If anyone can tell me what Masterton was thinking about in the last couple of parahraphs I'd really appreciate a nudge. Read more
