One of the most understandable books I've read for looking after your canine friend from cradle to the grave. It's written by proffesionals who do not attempt to blind you with technical words and descriptions. This book is a must for the ordinary dog lover who sometimes feels lost at the vet when confronted by technical jargon. I can now safely refer to this book and understand what the vet tells me. Overall an excellent guide for looking after your pet.

This is a bible for dog health and care and possibly the only one of it's kind.

I bought this book as my hound was regualry poorly - this gave me a great insight and understanding and in the passing of 18 months before the vet finally made a diagnosis it helped me and then after diagnosis I learnt how to manage his condition and appreciate what was going on internally so I could prevent repeat attacks as much as possible.

A god send.

This is book for reference for all dog owners at times of illness. Clearly written in a non jargon form it is easily understood. This would be a big help when visiting a vet who sometimes blinds clients with technical veterinary jargon. This is a very good guide for the owner when your dog is poorly.
