Amazing 18 Sep 2004
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
I am only part way through the book so far but, I'm really surprised at the confidence it has given me to deal with the problems my PC gives me and how I'm able to keep a cool head now, instead of panicking , which is what I normaly do! ;) I haven't managed to fix all my problems (yet) but, I know lots more about how to find out how without having to bug my friends to help me.

I'm amazing myself, even, as I'm now planning some upgrades to my memory and a new hard disk, which I never even considered before, let alone thinking of doing them myself!! And, now my freind even wants me to help her do her PC too.

This book has made me a very happy girl with a very happy computer and I thoroughly reccommend it :)

If your knowledge of PC computing is at a very basic level then this book will probably be of use to you: if not, please save your money. I am astonished that the author runs technical courses. So many important details are left out of the so called troubleshooting sections.
