As a great fan of Christian Jacq I always eagerly await his new releases. This one was worth waiting for. Yet another excellent piece of work that makes you almost feel like you are there living the story. Good factual information mixed with fiction makes this yet another book you will find hard to put down. Cannot wait for the third one in this trilogy!

Following on from the gripping first book in this series, this book seamlessly continues a gripping story which is written in a very accessible and fun style. The author's love for Egypt shines through and he adeptly paints a picture of a world of chaos vs. order with associated agents of evil vs. good. The style of writing is very relaxed and not high brow at all, a light and enjoyable read. The characters are well constructed and very likeable and it's a page turner throughout.

You must read this to conclude the Vengeance of the Gods series. It's well worth the buy, another good story from Christian Jacq.
