About the Author

Margaret Murphy is the author of eight novels, all concerned with both the violent criminal and the victim of crime. Her first, GOODNIGHT, MY ANGEL, was shortlisted for the First Blood award for debut crime novels. Her novels are published in the USA and in translation across Europe. A graduate in environmental biology, Margaret has been a countryside ranger, biology teacher and dyslexia tutor. After gaining an MA in Writing, she taught creative writing for the Open College of the Arts, and is Consultant Tutor for the MA in Writing at Liverpool John Moore’s University. Margaret is the founder member of Murder Squad and an active member of the Crime Writers’ Association. She reviews crime fiction and is an occasional contributor to Radio 4’s The Message. She lives on the Wirral.
