This is a beautiful and well-written catalogue for a superb exhibition of early nineteenth century watercolour art of Paris as its subject matter. The artists include Turner, Girtin, T S Boys, Cox, Bonington, Callow, Scarlet Davis, Holland, Wyld and Nash. The quality of reproduction is excellent and there are some very interesting essays on the interchange between England and Paris at the time. If you missed the show - don't miss this catalogue!
