4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable read 12 Jan 2013

A nicely written short story, with a reasonable plot and believable sex scenes. Saskia Walker writes erotica with a realistic feel. The characters aren't 100% perfect and that's why you're bound to like them! Can these two (Leonie & Mike) patch up their differences?

4.0 out of 5 stars Hot Contemporary Erotic Romance! 16 Jan 2012

The Devil You Know was the first work by Saskia Walker that I've read & it was definitely H-O-T! Ms. Walker absolutely knows how to turn up the heat! This short novella was packed with passionate, steamy love scenes; they're explicit, but not vulgar. Sashia Walker has such a phenomenal talent at writing exquisite erotic romance. She definitely knows how to get your juices flowing :)

This novella introduces the reader to Leonie & Mike. Amazon did a fine job of providing a summary for this novella so I won't go into depth about it. While it is short (~24 pages) don't dismiss it as a bad read. Ms. Walker managed to pull of well-developed characters & a believable plot & story line in such a short read. Overall, I recommend this if you are looking for a nice, fast & hot read to pass the time. Just don't read it in public ;)
4.0 out of 5 stars ...is better than the one you don't know 18 Dec 2011

The story was short, very short (about 20 pages in pdf format), but I stayed with it. Leonie ran to another continent to try and get her man out of her heart and head. I kind of blame Leonie for her predicament, bc she should have set boundaries in the beginning. I wish the author had at least given 1-2 extra chapters telling how they met and came to be sex buddies--there was nothing more and he wanted nothing more.

Leonie did use her time away proving she could handle her job and built her self confidence. The problem is she gave in way too fast and when she repeated some of the things the guy had said to her...well, I would have left to. They basically took up where they left off but at least now the guy was worried--he was not sure she still had feelings for him--'bout time. The author did good, just too short, but I would read more of her work.
