More About the Author

James Steen is an award-winning journalist, author, ghost-writer and collaborator. His latest book is The Foodie, published in hardback as The Kitchen Magpie. He is co-author of The Devil in the Kitchen, the autobiography of chef Marco Pierre White (to be turned into a biopic produced by Ridley Scott). James is co-author of Raymond Blanc's autobiography, A Taste of My Life, and Keith Floyd's final memoir Stirred But Not Shaken (BBC Radio 4's Book of the Week), and has contributed to books that include White Heat 25, Kitchen Secrets and Marco Made Easy. He is based in London.
