The Demon Assassin is the second part in a series of four books following the story of Paul Rector and his fight against the demon brotherhood. Paul travels to 1941 in a bid to try and stop his ancestor Harry Rector from assassinating Churchill. It's definitely a rivetting read, quite fast paced and thrilling, with more than a handful of chills thrown in. These take the form of Harry turning into his demon self, the Blood Wolf and the ever menacing presence of Lud, the demon king who is struggling to free the bonds of imprisonment and unleash his evil on the World.
Perhaps due to some of the more gruesome elements it is better suited to the 12+ market, as younger children may find it too disturbing. All in all a great read and a well thought out story.
