Personally I really enjoyed this read. It seems a bit marmite going on previous reviews, but I do feel that the 1 star reviews seem to be based on the fact that the readers seem to have issues about its length - it is a short story, which was what I was expecting, and as such was very enjoyable. If you like ghost stories - give it a go.

I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Good traditional style ghost story with nice atmospheric suspence without graphic blood, guts and violence, its the sort of story that gets the imagination going to great effect. Nicely drawn characters, highly recommended!

I was so keen to read this that I purchased it on a Sunday night and read it on the train Monday morning! It was a great little ghost story in the more traditional manner. I liked the way the house and the characters were carefully described but not to the point of boredom. It doesn't tie up any ends so if you like your stories with everything explained then this isn't the one for you, but I certainly didn't think it detracted from the story. It's a short novelette, so again, if you are after a proper full length book you will be disappointed. For me, it hit the right spot. It was well paced and it kept my interest right up until the end. Def worth the money!

rubbish

This book is a total wast of time and mony.The story is shallow and boring.

Beware that this is a short story, and for �1.71, it's not good value, and the story is o.k at best but it seemed to be rushed.
