Archie Roach is quite simply the best singer songwriter of his generation. I could go on for hours about how great he is, but the only way to find out is to purchase this album.

Or failing that get "Jamu Dreaming" - it's consistently in my top one of best albums of all time. Or one of his many other albums, and whilst you're at it, purchase one of his late partners CD's - Ruby Hunter.

I review CD's for the world's best Americana website, so I know what I'm talking about.

Get into Archie. You'll wish you had years ago.

Australian folk/protest songs telling history from the view of the aboriginal people. I heard They took the children away' on the radio and just had to track down the album. it didn't disappoint.
