About the Author
Annemarie Postma was born in the Netherlands in 1969. Partially paralysed as a result of an untreated tick bite in childhood, she studied law, but became the first professional model in Europe with a disability, appearing in Playboy in 1995. In demand on TV talk shows at home and internationally, she has since become a well-known campaigner and writer with a special interest in self-esteem and self-respect. Since 2005, Annemarie has been goodwill ambassador of the Netherlands Foundation for Handicapped Children.

Annemarie Postma's The Deeper Secret is a great buy for anyone interested in the current fascination with the Law of Attraction. This book gives a more down-to-earth and pragmatic view on the spiritual laws of manifestation, offering a wider context as well as simple guidelines for how to really set-to and become responsible for making the changes you want to make. Annemarie's 'new' teaching is that we are in partnership with the Universe, and so must learn to give what we want to receive. This is a fuller picture of the Laws as well as a beautiful book that's easy to pick up and put down.

If you've read 'The secret' by Rhonda Bryne, then prepare yourself for a shock, because 'The deeper secret' changes some of the key elements that made make 'the secret' so successfull
The secret has you believe the Law of attraction is something that gives you everything.. Focusing on visualising what you want and even pretending to have these things in a make believe kind of fashion. The Deeper secret however tells that you only get what you need and that the law of attraction will bring these to you. Even if you are on the wrong track, the law of attraction will help you to forefill what you are truly meant to do in this life. This book was quite hard to stomach at first, as I was trying to look for some similarities between the two books.. However, the further I read into the book, the more it began to make sense, also justifying some of what Rhonda Brynes 'The secret' tells.
I'll admit, 'The secret' changed the way I think, and I don't think that's going to change as it had made me more positive. Having Read 'The deeper secret' however, has also opened my mind as to why things have happened to me and what my purpose in life is!
This is a great book, and will hopefully change the way you think as it has with me ;)

A balanced and well written book which helps identify how to become more aware of how to create the future you want by exploring your actions, values and attitudes. It helps you become more aware and align them so you do not undermine your efforts. One of the better books of this genre. Well grounded and accessible. Easy and quick to read with only essential exercises. If you have read 'The Secret' you will be reassured to know that this is a more complete and sensible exploration of the subject.
