"Superman-dead!"--The Daily  Planet. On November 18, 1992, news of  Superman's death shocked the world as the legendary  Man of steel was killed defending Metropolis from  the monster called Doomsday. Here at last is the  dramatic story behind the best-selling comic book  of all time: the fates of Clark Kent, Lois Lane,  Ma and Pa Kent, the Justice League, and the reign  of the four super-beings who mysteriously appeared  after Superman's funeral, each claiming to be the  real Last Son of Krypton. And finally, here is  the complete incredible story of Superman's  triumphant retum! In this thrilling novel, Roger Stern, a  veteran writer of Action  Comics, chronicles the most amazing comeback in comic  book history--told with more gripping detail and  background than ever before.

Top Stuff 14 Aug 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
This is the best Superhero book or comic I have ever read at the moment. I has a great story line and is a must for any comic/Superman fan. I even found my self almost crying at points.

One thing I would have liked to have seen was what happened after the end when Superman went after the other Supermen. If this is continued in another novel please some one let me know.

Definately a great read to satisfy those super-cravings for action. Even if you weren't a fan of superman's legacy before, you will be after reading this incredible novel. A fifth of this book covers the history and origins of Superman, which no one can get tired of knowing again. The enjoyment of reading this novel is equal when compared with the action packed comics, and does justice to Superman's name.

SIMPLY THE BEST! 23 July 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Roger Stern has brought out the best in Superman. Instead of pictures, he uses words to describe the Man of Steel's death. I read the anthology of Superman's seath and life first, and I feel that Stern could not have written this book any better. The detail is exploding, and the action with drama is non-stop. Probably one of the best books I have ever read in my lifetime!!!! This book will shock and stun the shoes right off of Superman lovers!
