Product Description

The final chapter in the Godlanders War.

Corin Hugh, once left to die in the tomb of a dead god, now carries with him the burning memory of King Oberon’s betrayal at the hands of the tyrant god Ephitel. But he also carries a secret weapon—Godslayer, the one sword in all Hurope that can bring Ephitel to his knees.

However, he will need more than just a magic sword to draw Ephitel down from his throne. As Corin searches for allies in what may become his last, desperate stand against the gods, his quest takes him deep into the heart of two ancient orders: a reclusive race of druids and the long-lost elves of old Gesoelig. Ultimately, Corin must swallow his pride and look to his fellow humans for help as he plots his revenge against Ephitel.

All his plans may crumble to ashes, however, if Justicar Jessamine, Ephitel’s ruthless but beautiful champion, has her way...

In this third epic volume of The Godlanders War, men, gods, mortals, and immortals alike join forces in a furious race against time and a desperate battle for survival.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff. 8 Nov 2014

One of the most gripping fantasie novel I've read. A page turner with well defined personalities. I would have loved at least one female heroe with a little more importance and description than the ones found in the trilogy. Women seem mostly either trying to hold the heroes back or push them on, but have nearly no importance on their own, except the one who was bad to the bone.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too short and too shallow... 21 Aug 2014
By Umang S. Bhatnagar - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Very abrupt. Something is very difficult to do and everybody who goes somewhere dies. But when your hero goes there he just happens to have somebody who knows exactly where to go and what are the challenges. Similar stuff all through the book - very different from the quality of writing I've come to expect from Mr Pogue. Seems to have become an exercise in money spinning by writing many short books that you sell at full price. The intensity, emotion and depth of plot was just not there. While the writing was still fair, the jokes seemed forced into the text, not natural or adding to the flow.

I'm probably not going to pre order the next one - will wait to see whether he's actually going to write a book or just an episode.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing from Aaron Pogue 27 Aug 2014

Not as riveting as some of his previous works. The storyline was challenging to follow at times...causing me to have to flip back to decide how the book was progressing.

Aaron Pogue is a good writer, but it seemed that in this latest book, the hero did a bit too much thrashing around before he got to the meat of the story. But once the thrashing stopped, the book delivered on the promise of the earlier books and was a very satisfying read. Enjoyable and I will be buying more from this author.
4.0 out of 5 stars A fun read 19 Oct 2014

A great adventure. Fun to read.
The characters are somewhat shallow, and the plot advances too fast that sometimes it doesn't make sense.
Seems like the author wrote it very quickly..

Looking forward to the next book and hopefully it will be deeper.
5.0 out of 5 stars The Godlanders series was one of the best I have read in a long time! 22 Oct 2014

I would highly recommend this book to a 14+ age group! I really liked the author's writing style, and the story line was well written. The characters were entertaining, believable, and well described. I was so absorbed in the story that I read the series in 3 days!
