My grandson really enjoyed this story, read in stages at bedtime, always eager to see how the adventure of the children and their dog, on the boating holiday, would proceed. Suitable for children of all ages, it was good innocent fun, reminiscent of Enid Blyton's adventure stories. If this is the first of a series featuring that baddie Captain Thomas, we will be looking forward eagerly to the next one.

Just found out that further Captain Thomas books are now available, so ordering "The Top Secret Camping Adventure" now.
