2.0 out of 5 stars Waste of time 11 Aug 2011
By Alan G
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
I knew from a previous review that this was small, but it wasn't as big as small! It really is a stupid size, making it fairly unreadable. The content is slightly amusing, but no more than that. If it had been twice the size of page (and of course half the number of pages)it might have got a third star.

1.0 out of 5 stars Be aware the size of this 'book' 13 Jun 2011
By J. Mero
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
This is not a review about the content, but the size. The book is so small that reading it is not much of a pleasure; your thumb covers half a page. Ok, it didn't cost much either, but when each anecdote goes over several of the miniscule pages of a book that is hard to open, and keep open, the enjoyment is rather limited. Get one that is of a half-decent size, at least four times the size of this one!
The content per se is worth it, - just wonder who got the silly idea of making a hard-cover book marginally larger than a business card.

5.0 out of 5 stars Darwin awards 13 Dec 2010
By Val
Format:Hardcover
Bought this for the husband...he never reads anything but bike mags! So thought I would give him something more interesting to read. We have laughed at some of the daft things people get up to. The book has passed through 3 people so far and all think it is a funny book. It continues on it's travels....

1.0 out of 5 stars Darwin The descent of man by Wendy Northcutt 25 Nov 2007
By H. Crosby - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Not up to the fine standards as the previous works, much briefer and in a differet size. Would be better to wait for more material and make it similar to the other three. It was fine as it was but left quite a bit to be desired.

4.0 out of 5 stars great book, but mini 18 Dec 2006
By A. Williams - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
I purchased this book thinking it would be a regular, full-sized book. It is in fact a very small book. It will fit in the palm of my hand. It's contents however isn't lacking at all despite the size. I would prefer a regular size book, but I'll take it as I can get it.
5.0 out of 5 stars I hope I never get a Darwin Award 7 Dec 2012

Hillarious. My husband laughs at me for buying so many of these books. They crack me up. You'll love it.
4.0 out of 5 stars by reading you live longer 17 Mar 2012

By reading how others have committed dumb acts that resulted in their demise we the living can avoid the same mistake and live happier and longer.

Respectfully,

1.0 out of 5 stars Too Tiny! 13 Sep 2009
By Walter Jeffries - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
I was very disappointed to receive this microscopically tiny "book". I had bought it for my wife's birthday because she had enjoyed the real, full sized Darwin books of which we have several. This one is too small. The print is too small. The pages are too small. It is an unreadable absurdity and a rip off.
