This is a very raw, real book about young people struggling to grow up. It has everything - sex and sexuality, drugs, raves, friendship, betrayal, even incest. But it is the language and the author's unique writing style that really brings both character and place to life, and races the book along at such a breathless pace that you just can't put it down.
The end came far too quickly for me and I was disappointed with the next book I began reading simply because it wasn't like this one.
Top class debut novel - more please!
