5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best books ever written! 16 Feb 2013

We do a few of these puzzles every day with our children. We started doing them when they were in the Daily Mail. They are now both in the top maths groups at school. Our son won the year 8 maths prize and was the best at maths in his whole intermediate school - I am sure this is due to this wonderful book and also volume 2 which we enjoy doing together. Norman D Lock is a hero - everyone should have and use this book!
