“Another fabulous series by Sylvia McDaniel. I thoroughly enjoy her stories & writing style. All 3 books are witty & intriguing. They all have humor, passion, romance, & conflict.” ~~ Amazon Customer

“I have never read a series of three books where the plot is continued and the murderer is revealed in the last book. You have to be careful to pick up on casually dropped clues in each book. It was an ingenious idea and very well written.” ~~ Karo

5.0 out of 5 stars a great whodunnit 18 July 2013

thoroughly enjoyed these stories, basically a guy is murdered in an hotel suite and the police discover he had three wives, one of which was in the suite with him, the first two stories follow each wife from when the body is discovered to the their own HEA but you get more info about the husband and posibiliies of who murdered him, more so in the second story, the third story starts at the discovery of the body and eventually you discover who did the deed and yeah more HEA, the only negative i would give is not enough sex! but still an enjoyable read and a suprise at the end. Hope you enjoy these stories as much as i did and i will definately read more by this author

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting read from viewpoint of three wives 29 Sept. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
An interesting read, told from the viewpoint of the three women the anti-hero married bigamously. When he dies in mysterious circumstance one of them is arrested for his murder although all come under suspicion at one time or another. There is no in-depth exploration of Jean Cuvier's rationale for the various marriages nor why none of the wives were suspicious of his frequent absences or how he managed to get away with it bearing in mind they all lived within approx. 2 hours of each other. Putting this aside it was a good enough read and it kept me entertained. For the purists you should be aware that there is frequent lapses into "modern" speak which can jar on times as this is supposed to be an historical novel.
