Wonderful Book! 4 Sep 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
I really enjoyed this book! I bought the first one because the plot sounded interesting but then I was hooked. Although The Crimson Claw was my favorite, I think that the Crystal Eye is an equal to the other two. I'm not a sentimental person and I almost never cry over movies or books, but this book made me cry! Ampris is my favorite character in any book I've ever read. I recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of science fiction books.

completely perfect 1 Sep 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
The Crystal Eye has to be my favorite book of all time, seriously. the story is full of emotion and no matter what kind of person you are, you can't help but feel the pain and triumph that happens to ampris and her allies. The ending took me completely by surprise, and made me cry a little bit. The only problem is that a lot of times in the series they show the Viis' emotions and sufering, which makes you feel sorry for them also. But, that is small in the contrast of how great this book is. literacy perfection

This book RULES!!! It is just as good as the 1st two, I never put it down! But I think, even with ILM's great technology, I wouldn't like to see this as a movie. I think it's a lot better as a book and it would loose quality (and probably most of the story) if made into a movie (think Animorphs book-to-TV process <yuk>). Just as a little sidenote though, I am now Ms. Chester's second youngest fan, coming in at 11 3/4.

Far below my expectations of LucasArts
I picked this up almost as soon as it was published...and wished that I hadn't. The character development is weak and the dialog is very poorly written. Read more
