Once you pick this book up you will not be able to put it down. Again as with all his books i think that this will appeal to readers of all ages and not just teenagers who i belive it has been aimed at. This is not a typical 'asian' book as it goes in depth not just in the indian character but also in to the afro-carribean characters and white characters. Also the lives of the characters ae not your typical 'indian child living with both parents happily' scenerio....Bali Rai delas with real life issues that affect modern asian children such as life with a single parent and those struggling financially as well as issues in general such as prostitution adn drugs. He has managed to tie all these aspects into one great book I only wish it could have been longer.

This is one of the best books i've read. Its simply wicked. Do not read this if you are quite sensitive because it swears and the main issures are - drugs racism and prostitutism in Britain. This book is excellent and i have recommended it to most of my mates

This is a thriller greater than the rest,
It grips like a vice and is simply the best.
It would be a crime not to read it,
And i'm going to tell you why.
When you've read this review you'll want to buy, buy, buy!

There's Billy, Jas, Della, Ellie and Will,
They discover some money, a bag to the fill.
They make the decision to hand the money in,
But in the ghetto, they casue quite a din.

It's scary, gripping and really well told,
Everyone will love this - young or old.
It's hard hitting, gritty and will have you on the edge of your seat,
It has to be said - this book is hard to beat!
