This is a very interesting book for those who are after making their own butter, cream cheese, Ricotta, Marcarpone, sour cream, buttermilk, etc. Or else, if you are not interested in making dairy products yourself you can make the recipes using the products you can buy in the shops which is what I did when I tried the first recipe: Buttermilk Fried Chicken which was rather nice only I would have spiced it up more. All the recipes are very simple but I think rather nice and I will try out most of them. As far as the dairy products you can make some won’t be easy as I wouldn’t know where to find cultured buttermilk, for example. I am especially interested in making my own butter as there is nothing more delicious than fresh baked bread (which I bake myself) with your own butter melting on it!

Every recipe is accompanied by a photo and the measurements are in metric and in cups. All in all a really nice book!
