The majority of this album sees Petit performing in the style of Mick Taylor era Stones , so it's no surprise to see that he has toured with the great man himself. Along with the powerful rockier numbers there are a couple of ballads, some judicial covers, a couple of instrumental tracks, a bit of gospel and some thoughtful slower blues. "It's all good" even manages to be a bit like the Clash. This variety may be the album's only weakness though as Petit hasn't yet made any style his "own" but in the blues genre that must be incredibly difficult so for now I'll happily listen to the various permutations of the blues presented here. With 17 tracks, this album is excellent value for money if nothing else!
