I have found the book to be extremly informational and inspirational! The artisans and art featured in the book are all very unique. There are examples and uncomplicated explainations and step by step illustrations that are clear and concise and the author has done a wonderful job of finding diverse styles of jewelery. This one is certainly going to be on my must get list!

I bought this book, out of interest, as I have earrings of elegance by Janet from back in the 1980's when I bought them. It is a terrific work displaying so many magical ideas and materials and how intricately she blends them together! Her Art is phenominal. This is just a wonderful catalog and how to do manual !

AMAZING -- A FAVORITE ASSET

In a library of more around two hundred (I stopped counting) books I use for inspiration and technique, this is a big favorite. Any time I need a fresh perspective, this is a go-to resource I'd hate to be without.
While I will never copy any design in the book, it always gives me a new twist or a clever approach to my jewelry design, a material I never thought of using, etc. The photos are beautiful. In addition to the pieces that have instructions, is a gallery of other inspirational pieces -- this book abounds with fun, funky and clever ideas.
If you make jewelry or any kind of art that is non-traditional, or you appreciate one-of-a-kind artistry, this book is definitely worth the price.
