Love Lynsay Sands' historical - or hysterical - novels. Christiana marries 'Dicky' an earl, who once married to her turns into a horrible man. She had been glad to marry him to pay off her father's gambling debt which was going to ruin her and her two sisters. However, during a visit from her sisters to tell her of yet another gambling debt incurred by their father, 'Dicky' is found dead in his study. Not wishing to have to go into mourning, especially as her sister Suzette needs a husband to pay of this latest debt, the sisters put the body to bed in ice and go off to a ball to seek out a husband for Suzette. During the ball 'Dicky' turns up...... The sisters attempts to understand how the dead man is still alive and the real earl Richard's attempts to take over his life after his brother George's attempt to kill him, shouldn't be funny. But the misunderstandings have you laughing out loud. The story is brilliant. A must read.

Reaally awful I really was surprised as to how bad this was. Weak plotting and poor characterisation. As for the Americanisms less said the better...
