Book Description

In the jungles of Belize, a lost manuscript written nearly five-hundred years ago by Nicolaus Copernicus has been found by Major Stone and his Omega Sector team. Legendary objects found at various locations around the world. Relics that are both ancient and otherworldly.

Inside this mysterious journal, Copernicus left detailed information on how these relics can be obtained and where. Once found they must be used to release ancient crystals hidden among history's Lost Lands around the globe.

Of course, these Legendary Relics and their corresponding Lost Lands must be found before natural and astronomical events wreak havoc on an unsuspecting world and its Thermal Threshold on December 3rd. Only then will the magnetic polarity of the Earth and its core temperature will be righted and humanity saved.

Unfortunately, after the events following the first relic hunt in The Nostradamus Revelation, the commander of the devastated military force (AMMO), has employed a wealthy Russian businessman who has, at his disposal, several elite bounty hunters, from around the world, to stop Major Stone and his team from ever finding the remaining artifacts... Throwing the world into economic, political and environmental upheaval.

Will Omega Team complete their latest mission and save the world from an inevitable fate? Who will survive? Who will die? Find out when you read, The Copernicus Connection!

There are some really enjoyable elements to this book and the prequel. Near non-stop action, spectacular settings and likeable characters, on the whole.

There were some minor elements I'd change - more character back story, set pieces that are derivative of similar authors (Clive Clussler, Matthew Reilly), villains who completely disappearing for two hundred pages and an ending that was as spectacular as the sparklers I bought from Asda for bonfire night.

But the biggest issue was that neither book seems to have been edited by anyone, whether it's the author or a third party. Random commas are commonplace, poor syntax, repetition, wrong words used (worst instead of worse, etc.) and so on. I try not to be too much if a grammatical pedant when reading but after a while it got tiring and seriously detracted from my enjoyment of the books, which is a shame.

I'm actually in the middle of reading the book. I have purchased this book immediately after finishing part one. Maybe a little hard to believe, but if you enjoy a bit of mystery and adventure as much as I do, you will definitely like this book. Please read part 1 first.

Still another example of very poor editing. Looks like the author used a spell checker rather than having someone actually read/edit the book. I rather enjoyed the book but hated the editing!

5.0 out of 5 stars Twists, Turns and Intense 24 Mar. 2015

Vincent Pauletti has woven another nail bitter in the Copernicus Connection. Stone and his Omega team are on another dangerous adventure. This time the danger is increased as a Russian thug, businessman, has hired 10 assassins, bounty hunters, to kill our heroes.

In the jungles of Belize, the team find a manuscript written by Copernicus and hidden by one of his followers. This manuscript gives directions to find relics that then can be used to locate crystals to save the world. Not only does the team have to contend with hidden traps along the way but also thwart the assassins to save the world.

Lots of twists and turns will keep the reader on the edge of their seat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keep all limbs inside, the ride hasn't stopped 14 Mar. 2015

Just when you thought you could rest after reading Nostradamus Revelation, you pick up Copernicus Connection and have to stock up on those 5 hour energy drinks. The Omega Team again travels the world to save the world while being hunted themselves.

The Omega Team, the 'toys' (loved the 'toys'), each mission, the hunters, the OH NO! moment, Vincent Pauletti did a wonderful job weaving them all together for another enjoyable read. To read it just once is a disservice to yourself, because you will miss something or didn't make the connection.

This was written by my mother who I purchased the book for her Kindle.

5.0 out of 5 stars They would make a great movie! 30 Jan. 2015

The Copernicus Connection is a very well written fiction novel. The imagination and some true facts of this book makes for an exciting, adventurous and fast read. The journey the Omega Sector Team partake in is very detailed. If they make the wrong move they will fail to complete their mission. The author also surprises us with many twists and turns of their mission.
Steven Spielberg have you read these books yet? They would make a great movie!
