She leaves them in their homes in compromising positions for their trophy wives to find and adds to their ex wive's coffers with whatever little goodies they've left hidden in their safes. She's done though, as the cops are getting too close and she has no intention of following in the family business or getting caught.

After trolling the alternative lifestyle clubs for suspects and coming up empty, Kane Michaels decides to be up front with the manager of The O Club. He's determined to capture the Risque Robber, but Vanessa turns his brain to mush with one glimpse. All he can think about is some one on one time with her and that turns into a desire for more. She may look like a one night stand dominatrix, but her heart says otherwise.

Will Kane have to turn in the love of his life?

Sex as a Weapon sizzles. Sasha White writes consistently hot books. This one would fry an egg on the sidewalk while keeping you intriged to the end. Even knowing the identity of the Risque Robber did not detract from the mystery as you just don't know until the last page how it will all work out. With steaming chemistry between Kane and Vanessa, there is still the almost insurmountable conflict between Kane's dedication to his job and Vanessa's Robin Hoodesque hobby. I'll bet there will be a few divocees' taking notes!

Arrested has Reid's attraction for Kristen overwhelming his inner values. He's also rigid and structured. As Reid was completely uninterested in Kristen's explanations, it was difficult to imagine them together long term. As a law enforcement officer with such strict values, it is not believable for him to suddenly fall madly in love with a woman he considers a liar and thief or for her to fall in love with a man who treats her so poorly. There was no relationship development, just sex, sex and more sex. Although it ended well with plenty of action and the sex scenes were hot, this just didn't have believability.

Detroit's Finest is hot but full of descriptions and language more suited to a college frat boy than a woman in the throes of passion for her man. This is a sex centered book with little about emotions or relationship. It's sleazy with the man moving on to the new relationship without removing himself from the old first. I wouldn't want him and don't really get why Tracey does. She needs to be sent to self esteem school so she will pick a man who's actually available or force the issue with Troy. Although I can't fault the characterizations or consistenty, this one just didn't appeal.

Anthologies are difficult to review, particularly with authors and stories so diverse. You would like to enjoy each story. With Detroit's Finest and Arrested, it was the plots that were off putting rather than the writing strength. After reading the blurbs, you may feel differently as they may be right up your alley. Sex as a Weapon stands out in this anthology and makes this worth the money!

"Arrested" by Alyssa Brooks. Sheriff Reid Walker stops the vehicle of Kirsten Montgomery as he has reason to believe the driver is a car thief. He cannot understand how much he wants her while she fears her own reaction to him. However, Kirsten knows that once Reid learns about her sordid past, nothing further will come from their attraction. Reid instead wants to keep her under his personal security especially in his bed.

"Sex as a Weapon" by Sasha White. Police Detective Kane Michaels pursues the notorious Risqué Robber, a beautiful thief, to a bondage club. Reluctantly he enters, but finds himself fantasizing about his masked escort who is going to provide him a special lesion in bonding between cops and robbers.

"Detroit's Finest" by Renée Alexis. On a highway patrol Officer Davenport stops the speeding car to give the driver a ticket. That is until he sees the beautiful Tracey and decides a hands on search to insure she has no hidden weapons is appropriate. She offers much more as her weapons are on display.

Though the mixing of duty with sex seems inappropriate these three arresting erotic romances with light bondage will handcuff readers with fresh looks at law enforcement.

SEX AS A WEAPON is by Sasha White. This author has done it again! Every read of hers that I have read so far have been exceptionally done, and SEX AS A WEAPON too was just a great read from the start to the ending. As Detective Kane goes after the known Risqué Robber, they catch up with each other, and the attraction is mutual and sizzling. The light bondage scenes were beautifully sensual done! Too, this sizzling story as a novella was fully done and believable that its satisfying ending had me looking up what book will be out of hers next! As an autobuy author, I recommend her other reads as well, PURE SEX, BOUND, and LUSH that are out now.

ARRESTED is the second story in the anthology by Alyssa Brooks. Reid Walker, a sheriff, pulls over Kristen Montgomery for a possible stolen car. The sudden attraction and intensity of their romance was a done well. Both having backgrounds that bear out through the story made also for an emotional read. This author also has some great ebooks available and are listed at her site.

DETROIT'S FINEST is the last story in the anthology by Renée Alexis. This author also has a single title book in this publisher, that will be going on my wishlist. DETROIT'S FINEST was my first read of hers. Officer Davenport stops Tracey on a highway for speeding where they meet. Right there in the beginning scenes, the hero and heroine in the story, kick off their romance that steams off the pages.

This anthology is a perfect weekend read! Sasha White's story was the best out of the three, with the other two stories as good reads. With the theme of law enforcement within the stories, they made for quick sizzling reads that can be read each in a sitting. Also a keeper!
