Watchman Nee's complete works 17 Mar. 2006
By D. Stratman - Published on
Format: CD-ROM
Just wanted to make an addendum and caution about the other negative review. Watchman Nee's works were mostly spoken messages given in trainings and teachings to build up the body of Christ in China when the Lord used him in building up a large part of the home church movement there years ago. I believe there were only 2 books that he actually penned - the Spiritual Man (his earliest work when he was younger and less mature in his walk) and The Normal Christian Life (an extremely solid work and well founded in the Scriptures). Thus, the other "titles" have been from oral messages published by different groups. Christian Fellowship Publishers is extremely solid and was started by one of brother Nee's coworkers in China, Stephen Kaung, who is still alive today. So, there publishing works and diligence in getting brother Nee's messages to the states has been fantastic. I believe the majority of brother Nee's messages are contained in this work, although, some may be by a different title than some of the other works published by other publishers such as Tyndale or LSM. Christian Fellowship Publishers is one of the most solid in translating accurately, without revisionism, the messages he delivered while ministering in Asia.

An excellent and portable collection 11 Oct. 2006
By calvinnme - Published on
Format: CD-ROM
As others have commented, this is an excellent collection, but by far it is not the complete collection of the works of Watchman Nee. Such a work will probably never exist since several different publishers own the rights to his works. Besides "The Normal Christian Life", also missing are some excellent works that are available from the Living Stream Ministry for free. From the Living Stream, I particularly recommend "The Normal Christian Church Life", and also a lesser known work from the latter period of Nee's ministry - "Spiritual Judgement and Examples of Judgement".

That particular work contains the testimony of various Christian workers at a conference held in 1948 for those involved in working full time for the Lord in China, shortly before the Communists took power. Following each testimony are comments by Watchman Nee on what each worker should have gotten from their dealings with the Lord. Many of the testimonies of the workers are three-hanky stories by American standards - houses and farms destroyed by the Japanese during the war, spouses and children killed by war and disease, and stories of unjust political imprisonment. Yet Nee stays focused on comments of gaining the Lord throughout these many sad stories. His basic message is this - if you don't gain the Lord from these many tragedies, in the end all you have are a bunch of tragedies.

I highly recommend this collection. I think you'll find Watchman Nee's teachings very accessible and straightforward - it is as if he were just sitting across the dining room table from you and talking to you.

Complete Works 20 Feb. 2006
By C. Johnson - Published on
Format: CD-ROM
If you are a reader of Watchman Nee, you will find more than enough study material in this cd to keep you occupied for years.

This cd is for the Christian who wants to walk in the spirit and become more mature in the Christian faith. If you are a casual reader who does not like to study or research material then this cd is not for you. I highly recommend this for all who want to be known as "overcomers".

Not "The Complete Works" 17 May 2005
By P. Farrand - Published on
Format: CD-ROM
"Complete Works" implies that this product contains everything attributed to Watchman Nee. However, a first glance at the table of contents of the CD-ROM will reveal this isn't the case. "The Normal Christian Life" is missing. "Sit, Walk, Stand" is missing. Given that another website attributes 100 books to Watchman Nee and this CD only contains 55 titles, many are those that are missing. A bit of investigation reveals that this is only a collection of the works that Christian Fellowship Publishers, Inc. has published. Please note: this CD-ROM may contain a great deal of wisdom but it is inappropriately named.
