This is a tremendous collection of Richard Allen stories proving he has no equal when it comes to writing about the skinhead movement It captures the true feel of the 70's Skinhead era and brings it to life. If you were or are a Skinhead then this is the book for you. If you were never a Skinhead don't let that put you off. It is a gripping story that best sums up life growing up in 70's England. read it....you will not regret it.

Brilliant, if slightly dated compilation of Richard Allen's infamous skinhead tales.

It's all here, love, sex, violence, and the whole collection's worth getting if only for the gorgeous picture on the front cover!

I think Richard Allen is one of the relatively few writers who addressed the needs of a young audience without vilifying or patronising them. I'm a huge fan. I've actually written a novel, which was inspired by Allen. It's about a Pitbull who roams London stealing cars and looking for sex, drugs and canine kicks. It's very funny. Have a look. [[...]]
