I wanted to know more precisely what Geocaching is? How to geocache correctly from the beginning? How to use trackable items? Even what GPS to purchase? How to use a compass if my GPS should fail?
All of these questions were answered in a clear and concise manner and then some, i.e. about Waymarking and Wherigo the next generation GPS Adventures. If you are a teacher, you can learn how to use geocaching in your teaching. However don't take my word for it - try it out!

This is an great book for refering to time and time again after the first read. It coveres all aspects of the sport both now and in the future. Highly recommended.

As a complete novice to geocaching this book is well worth buying. It is a no nonsense guide to everything you need to know to get you started. It is also full of useful tips for when you get past the basics. Don't be put off by the fact that it is published in the US, all the principles are the same for geocaching in the UK.

Bought this for fun and excercise.
Very pleased with the way the book is laid out. Lots of good solid information for this growing hobby. This book combined with a gps opens up a whole new world.
