Product Description

Review

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was beginning to feel anxious about how I can get my Psych students to start to study for their AS exams in June. There's so much to study and so many notes to read through! This book is concise, accurate and contains most of the information needed to pass the exam. It's also a small book so doesn't look so threatening and can easily fit into a small bag - you can take it out with you and revise anywhere (OK, I'm being hopeful now!) (Amazon Review)

For those of you like your poor reviewer who are at the moment being squeezed and pushed to save every penny so you won't be in debt at university this is a good substitution for the textbook. I would recommend to all those who are taking the specific exam and has the larger Folen's textbook with the siamese cat on the cover (look first if its reverent to your course!) to purchase this. I love that it is very slim and specific, the writing is perhaps a little too small for the average reader on a bus however I guarantee that this will be an invaluable purchase to help you with revisions in your upcoming exams. I have seen it more expensive in other stores and so this is a good price to pay.

I used this book to revise the weekend before my unit 1 and ended up with a C so if i had started revision much earlier could have achieved higher. I recommend this book to anyone who like me doesn't like the text book. The revision guide gets straight to the point leaving more time for you to practice answering the question that revising information that is not needed.

I bought this before my exams and i was amazed as how much i revised with it, big books tend to put me off reading and therefore revising but i saw this book and it seemed perfect so took it home and started revising with it, i was surprised at how little i would need to revise, i still can't get over it. Although it could use a little more details on the studies, but just a little more but its nothing to worry about. Its like having all your revision note prepared for you. A definitely a must have for a college student studying AS level psychology. The small book is perfect, its even got an area where you can tick so you know what you've revised. very handy. Made me actually like psychology better too because now i can understand it. Definitely going to be buying the A2 version of this when the time comes, if only they had these kind of books for all subjects!

This book is a god send. I really struggle with the memory side of psychology and the main textbooks which are the 'bigger' comapnions to this guide are really confusing (for me anyway) but this 'mini' companion is so much easier to understand has really started to help mne understand what I am meant to be doing. Also because it is smaller it is easier to fit in a school bag that is already bursting at the seams - Literally!

I really reccommend this to anyone who is doing AS psychology AQA specification A. It is easy to understand and easy to carry. perfect for revision on the move - you know you want to!
