had already 2 boxes of the one and only hank williams but this one makes it complete. especially the so called unknown songs are a real surprise. also the live records were very nice . of course a lot of the 3 discs were already in my possession on the other 2 boxes but nevertheless i am very satified to have this 3rd one also.
can recommend it very much to all the fans of hank sr. who left us much too early.

Format:Audio CD
For me the Hank Williams box set to get is the Proper Box. Although more expensive, you get more songs, better sound quality and more information (go to the Proper box web site as they are cheaper there). However this box set does sit nicely next to that one, especially with the radio show/live recordings. You are not paying a lot of money for this, but you are getting a lot, especially with the less well known recordings.

I had to give the Hank Williams collection five stars because I will never tire of listening to these three cds. No serious Hank Williams fan should be without this compilation...don't buy it at your peril!

i have liked hank williams since my teens and this is a great collection. I bought this as a xmas present for my husband.

Hank Williams - he is the man!
This is a great collection of Hank Williams although I wouldn't call it a complete collection. It does have some lovely songs on it that I hadn't heard him sing. Read more
