As someone just getting into Raw Food, gave great overviews of the core issues of 1) Raw Food and health, 2) "how-to"'s 3) do it yourself on the cheap 4) reviews of equipment 5) tips on raw food and cooking

Very balanced and thoughtfully written and constructed (and doesn't preach or try to convert you).

This is an ideal book if you want to know a bit about raw food and just want to get on with it and do it! The over 400 recipes are fantastic and the most I've been able to find in one book.

A solid buy!

This book is packed with information on how to go follow a raw food diet. The recipes that I have tried so far have all been very delicious. Some recipes are very simple, others require more prep time. I'm very glad that this was my first raw food cook book as I think it will be a while before I'll need another one.

This is a pretty good book if you're starting out like me. It gives you loads of information and background you might need and just has an enormous supply of recipes.

Many of the reciped need odd equipment or ingredients and it does tell you what these thinsg are and how to get them etc but if you're starting out it takes a lot of dedication.

I also think it would be better if it weren't just recipe after recipe and had some coloured pictures or just some more stuff to seperate it out a bit. It's slightly overwhelming trying to find something to make from it.

It is pretty comprehensive though and tells you everything you need to know, there's lots of very simple recipes it's just a matter of taking time to flick thorugh and find what you want to make based on what you have. I don't really recommend improvising too much... if you try and do something without the equipment or complete ingredients it can just go completely different from how it's meant to be!
