I bought this as a gift for xmas and my husband has not put it down once. Truly great pictures,some he has never seen before (which is difficult since he has been an enthusiasts since the late 90's). A great book to add to any collection.

Some great photography, interesting one-offs (the 4dr 911 from '67 for example), some RUF's and a comprehensive run through of factory cars from prototypes in '48 to (almost) the latest GT3 RS, including race models...something for everyone and a good reference point for most 911 fans...a heavy US bias (not really surprising though given the subject and the author)and a few typo's make it less than perfect, but not a bad effort.

I like this book very much. It has a lot of professional photography. It has most beautiful black and white photography I have ever seen. The printing is excellent. It is a well written book. I cannot stop reading it. If you are a Porsche fan, this book you cannot live without it. Well done!

I got this book for my boyfriend as part of his Christmas present and he loves it. He cant put the book down. i would recommend this book for any porsche enthusiast. He said it's exactly what he was looking for...great pics and a good read.

I spend every week, unwillingly watching Top Gear with my husband who spends the entire hour gushing over the Porsches. With that said, I knew a coffee table book of this kind would be the perfect gift. Shockingly, I couldn't find anything remotely close to this nice at the big box stores. I am so grateful I found this book for my husband, who is very difficult to shop for, because he never asks for anything. He loves the book so much that he actually leaves it out as if it were a piece of art!
