This book covers all types of bit ranging from the simple snaffle to the more complex bit. It gives information on how each bit works and a brief description of how it can help. Although the reader has to have some knowledge of riding it is not too technical for a beginner to pick up and understand. A good buy that will sit in the tack room as a reference for many years

Brilliant, loads of info for the equestrian rider, whether experienced or not, a super informative book, but also blows a few bits that are regularly used in the equestrian world as being confusing and not recommended, all my equestrian friends have read this, and love it
