As a fan of the avengers who did not manage to see all
the episodes, this book gives the most complete guide
to all the seasons and stories that were screened.
It has beautiful pictures and has been very thoroughly
researched.
It provides a lot of information such as how certain actors
or characters became what they became on screen.
What it lacks is some authors comments on how the
individual episodes performed in the ratings.
It would have been more complete if the author had
commented on how good some of the individual episodes
were.

If you're looking for a guide of each episode ever made, with a few random snippets of information thrown in here and there, then this is the book to get.
However, this is unlikely to be of interest to hardcore fans as they'll probably own all the DVDs, and will already know exactly what happens in each episode!
What this book lacks is rare behind the scene photos and gossip to keep us die hard fans satisfied! For this, buy Patrick Macnee's 'The Inside Story' instead.

This was an excellent book with PURE INFORMATION. HOwever, it failed to list some of the greatest things -- or the worst things -- about each episode. I also disliked the fact that it gave the ending to every episode. Some unmentioned things: ~How sad "The Forget-Me-Knot" ending was! ~Mrs. Peel's M-G-M lion roar in "Epic" ~Steed's kissing Mrs. Peel at the end of Dead Man's Treasure.
If you want information about THE AVENGERS, this is for you. But if you want a fan book, look somewhere else.

A great book for any Avenger fan
This is a wonderful book for Avengerphiles. It has marvelous pictures as well as complete episode descriptions.
