The Colouring Book
great for kids and adults, this book has big lined (so you don't go over the edges), rough, unintimidating yet detailed sketches that do not 'come to life' until you start to colour them in, and of course, this depends on the colours that you use. The pages are thicker than normal, so a variety of pens can be used without bleeding or going on through to the next page. It's a lesson in abstract art and is the perfect sequel to Herve Tullet's equally brilliant 'The Scribble Book' for younger kids.
