Product Description

Product Description

The Collector is a compendium of erotic experience. Kay Jaybee is the woman sat at the back of the bus, in the quiet corner of the library, or at the table across from you in the café. She may look like she is just scribbling in her notebook, but secretly she is discreetly taking down the indiscretions of others. Every chapter covers another of these erotically-charged escapades; whether of domination or submission, lesbianism or onanism. Each lust filled tale is provocatively written

About the Author

For the past ten years Kay Jaybee has lived a nomadic existence across the British Isles, collecting stories as she travels. Kay is a regular contributor to the erotica web site Oysters and Chocolate. A number of her short stories have featured in anthologies published by Xcite Press, Black Lace, Mammoth Publications and Cleis Press, including Best Women s Erotica 2007 and 2008

The Collector 4 Nov 2010
Format:Paperback
Some people just look like they can be trusted, trusted with our dirty little secrets. `The Collector' is the story of a woman discretely writing and cataloguing the sexual encounters of strangers, strangers who find her a person they can talk to. `The Collector' is a steamy anthology of kink and romance, chance encounters, and misbehaving. From a cleaning woman with a crush on the artist whose studio she cleans in Studio Girl to the revelation of the kinky toy collection in the chest at the foot of the bed in Treasure, Kay Jaybee draws the reader in with that same sense of trust, and opens up her notebooks for our voyeuristic feastings.

`The Collector' is a naughty little anthology by a writer who knows her way around a sexy story. Kay Jaybee titillates and enthralls in this scorching compendium of smutty good reads.

This really is a stunning set of stories! So diverse and yet all so enticing! Some are just plain kinky, some sweet, some are dark but all worth a read. My personal favourites were the `Treasure' and `Studio Girl' but that is because it touches my own preferred type of kink. But to state which story is your favourite seems so negative for it implies poorer stories but here each story has its unique beauty. There is the oddness of `Sweets' - which is a wonderful treat! There are some which are so short they are almost snippets of people's private affairs such as `Bad Behaviour', `The Candle Holder' and `Cupboard Lust'. Then there is `Executive School' less kink more character development - almost substance but nevertheless so arousing. The darker story of `Tequila' which has a wonderful final line which made me laugh out loud! Then there are those which have such wonderful descriptive power that they are so erotically charged such as, `Watching' and `Break Time'. These two are so hot!

These twenty stories are all penned by Kay Jaybee. Stories that she claims are overheard in coffee shops or on various modes of transport. I do not know how true this is but I know this lady can write. Her prose can be so descriptive and this is what makes this collection so wonderful. There is one story called `Late Developer' it is the least of the stories for erotic content yet for me it is the anchor of the collection. It makes me believe Kay Jaybee lurks in every coffee ready to pen her next story from overheard conversations. I for one will be on my own mission seeking out this Collector looking over my shoulder before I drink my next brew!

Perfect quickies! 23 Jan 2011

The premise is simple - Kay Jaybee is "the collector", the woman sitting at the back of the bus, in the corner of the cafe or in your local library. You may ignore her, thinking she's just a woman scribbling in a notebook. But if you, or someone around you, is talking about something remotely naughty, Kay's writing it down.

This book is the result of Kay Jaybee's collection of stories. Each chapter features an introduction, followed by the story itself. Some are much shorter than others and some are much naughtier than others. But one thing is consistent - they're all incredibly sexy.

What I really loved about this book was the fact it all felt very real. The author herself admitted that there are embellishments on some of the stories, and that some have come purely from her imagination. But what makes it so interesting is the fact that the erotic escapades between the covers of the book could happen.

The tales aren't about desert islands or exotic places we can only dream about. It could be real. Your neighbour could be doing it. Your colleagues could be doing it. That woman in the supermarket. Anyone, anywhere. And for me, that made it very, very sexy.

I also loved the brevity of the stories. They don't need to be any longer. They're just snippets of life; naughty sex scenes. There's no "they met, they fell in love and fell into bed" type thing. No character development is needed. It's just pure, unadulterated filth. And it's fabulous. Highly recommended.
