Format:Audio CD
Yes, these songs are good (although there is no *real* bonus material, as remixes don't really cut it for me, some B-sides would have been nice, although these are available elsewhere)
The tracks seem somewhat arbitrarily chosen - yes, the singles are there, but some great tracks, most notably Stone In My Shoe, are missing - whereas The Golden Rule gets in?! Likewise, Karmically Close and Are You Jealous? are the non-single tracks chosen from Illumina - where is Air & Angels, Resistor, Going Down... And then only two tracks from their latest offering... to be honest, just buy their three albums, and leave this one unless you're desperate to have everything the girls recorded.

Despite there not being anything new for fans who have bought the bands three albums, this collection does offer some remixes and a compilation of some of their better known tracks in one place.
From being discovered by Dave Stewert and their single `Alisha Rules the World' (also the album opener here), Alishas Attic gave us some easy going pop, but with slightly more substance than some of the other bands out at the same time. Both Shelly and Karen have great voices and I still listen to their debut single `I Am, I Feel' with a smile on my face. My favourite though has to be `Barbarella' which I also bought as a single when it was released.
There are some omissions here and a compilation will never please everyone, but as an introduction to the band for those who don't want to buy the albums this is perfectly serviceable and gives us enough of their hits to keep most people pleased.

Alisha's Attic should have had far more success than they managed, who knows why they didn't? Pop is a fickle business.
Anywho all of their studio albums are very good and this compilation takes the cream from them and that says it all.
Hopefully a further album of original material is in the pipeline.
