If you want to put a toe in the SA water, you can do no better than get this album - OK theres lots of their discography which isnt on here but it is truly representative of the immense range and musical genius of this band. (My only slight disappointment is that Shy is not on it) Dont be put off by the "metal" tag - Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath it isnt - every track is intensely melodic, Full Moon is virtually their signature and had to be here, Interesting selection of Kingdom for a Heart written after listening to a Royal Hunt album and you can hear it. Tallulah is a beautiful ballad which is followed by Wolf and Raven which is probably the hardest track. Personally I think Sonata Arctica may be amongst the finest bands in the world. Get it, I bet you'll end up hunting round for their rest of their discography - I cant imagine you'll be disappointed

I've been a Sonata Arctica fan for a couple of years now, and this is an excellent compilation of some of their very best and most accessible songs, with a mixture of fast-paced rockin' tunes, slow ballads & melodic metal.

A must-have, and a great guide to what a truly excellent band can produce... shame this band never took off in the UK as it has elsewhere!
