These books are great, not only for a 9 year old but his mum too! It makes bedtime reading even better than before.
The stories are so cleverly written and we particularly like how the author uses the clever fonts to help tell the story. We have just started reading book 5 and can't wait for the next one to come out. Keep up the good work :-)

The Clumsies series are good books for boys - they are written in a funny way and the mice get poor Howard into all sorts of trouble. My five year old loves to read them with me (we alternate reading one page each). Perfect to get him to practice his reading and to spend some quiet quality time together.

Totally disagree with the other reviewers - my 10 year old daughter found this book really disappointing and badly written, too. Not many laughs and downright confusing - characters kept being introduced with no explanation as to who they were - were they mice? People? Who knows. And who cares by the end of it. Will be sticking to Mr Gum books - much better and funnier.
