Product Description

The second series of the award-winning BBC documentary strand that follows choirmaster Gareth Malone's attempts to get a group of adolescent boys singing. In this series, Gareth visits sports-oriented Lancaster School, whose pupils Gareth hopes to turn into an all boys choir good enough to perform at the Royal Albert Hall. Unfortunately, Gareth soon encounters resistance to his plans from both the boys and staff.

This is another inspiring series from the inspiring Mr Malone. Only criticism is that whoever designed the DVD labelling must have been having a bad day. Despite disc 1 saying that it contains parts 1 & 2 and disc 2 parts 3 & 4 and Revisited, part 3 is actually on disc 1. So if you switch off the first disc at the end of part 2 and feel like there's something missing when you put in the second one, that's why.

Gareth Malone does it again. As in another review I told that I had only seen bits and pieces of this series on BBC America. I had to order the series to see it from beginning to end. Love it, and who can't cheer on Gareth and the Boys.
