This book has helped me to have a good understanding of constitutional law because it goes into a lot of depth about everything, so it's very thorough to say the least. They delve into the principles behind facets of of constitution, development of the British constitution, etc. so that you have a clear understanding of constitutional law. It might be very expensive but it's really worthwhile to invest in if you're a law student.
