DVD Description

Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman star in The Change-Up, from director David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers), writers Jon Lucas & Scott Moore (The Hangover) and producer Neal Moritz (Fast & Furious, Click). The comedy takes the traditional body-switching movie, ties it up tightly and throws it off a cliff. Growing up together, Mitch (Reynolds) and Dave (Bateman) were inseparable best friends, but as the years have passed they’ve slowly drifted apart. While Dave is an overworked lawyer, husband and father of three, Mitch has remained a single, quasi-employed man-child who has never met a responsibility he liked. To Mitch, Dave has it all: beautiful wife Jamie (Leslie Mann), kids who adore him and a high-paying job at a prestigious law firm. To Dave, living Mitch’s stress free life without obligation or consequence would be a dream come true.

Following a drunken night out together, Mitch and Dave’s worlds are turned upside down when they wake up in each other’s bodies and proceed to freak out. Despite the freedom from their normal routines and habits, the guys soon discover that each other’s lives are nowhere near as rosy as they once seemed. Further complicating matters are Dave’s sexy legal associate, Sabrina (Olivia Wilde), and Mitch’s estranged father (Alan Arkin). With time not on their side, Mitch and Dave comically struggle to avoid completely destroying each other’s lives before they can find a way to get their old ones back.

LOL comedy 6 Dec 2011
Format:DVD
This film is all about what would happen if you wanted to change places with somebody and if you did would it be as good as you thought.

Ok so yes this storey line has been done before in other films. This time its two best mates, each one the total opposite of the other. Ones a playboy and enjoying life and the other works hard and has a family.

Throughout the film there is laugh out loud comedy and a few of the scenes are not what you expected giving the film a feel of 'what they gona do next'.

Got to say i personally really enjoyed this film and it kept my mates and i entertained for the duration.

The two main actors pull off a great job and the moral of the storey clearly is that everything you see may not be how it is.

Good funny film well worth a watch

Hilarious lads film! 17 Mar 2012
Format:DVD
Not really for the easily offended or politically-correct brigade. If you are of a sensitive nature I would give this film a wide berth! If you like your comedy gross, often offensive and gut-wrenchingly funny, then this is the movie for you!!
Jason Bateman and Ryan Gosling are perfect for their roles as best mates who exchange bodies/lives whilst urinating in a fountain. One a top lawyer, the other a drop-out, their lifestyles are poles apart. From this hilarious situations are bountiful.
Very funny. Language is choice and humour is not to everyone's taste. A lads' delight!
