4.0 out of 5 stars Colourful pictures, and a nice read. 2 Feb 2008
Bought this when i bought my panther chameleon, and i liked it. I also bought Essential care of chameleons by philippe de Vosjoli. A good overall book with lots of colour pictures, and husbandry. May confuse a few beginers with the latin names, but still set out in a way easy to read, and follow. Not so much on husbandry, rather than behaviour, body, and nutrition. I'd buy this one just for all the wonderful pictures!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it! 5 Jan 2006
By A Customer
This book has some good points with lots of colour photos and info on many different types of chameleons. It's just too technical. All the names are in latin. It would be more useful if the common names were displayed too. I don't think it's the best book if you are planning to keep chameleons. It's more of a reference book for chameleons in general.

3.0 out of 5 stars good book, a little difficult to read 14 Mar 2013

not that i can't read well. but the author uses the animals scientific names rather than common names. so you never really understand which breed she's on about, lets face it; it's yemen chameleon, panther chameleon, jacksons chameleon etc.
other than that, good book. lots of useful stuff but nothing you wouldn't expect in a care book.
