After gaining a degree in Visual Art, specializing in photography, Jenny Palmer worked initially for the photographers agent Julian Sneddon, and then as a fashion stylist for magazines Harpers & Queen, Marie Claire, Independent, Sunday Times, and companies Next, Warehouse and Impulse. Her photography has appeared in Face, Vogue and Virgin magazines. She divides her time between London and the Caribbean with her two children.

I hoped this guide would compare to the "Ultimate Guidebook for Kauai" we have used for another trip. We rely on local's detail about sites and dining suggestions. This Cayman guide did not quite measure up. It is nice to know some history but I am coming to the island with no knowledge of it so I am more interested in which places offer the best meal, the best place to rent equipment etc. There was SOME of that...but not as much as I would have hoped.
