Mumfordites will be well aware that "The Cave" is a great song, but be alert to the marvellous b-side here (for I still think of them as such!). "Untitled" is another absolutely cracking Mumfords song, which they are now hammering into a work of real substance live. This recorded version is outstanding in itself and far too good to be thrown away as an untitled extra on a download single.

There are still a bunch of songs from pre-album days that seem to have been abandoned as well, at least recording wise: "The Banjolin Song", "Hold on to what you believe", "Feel the tide". Revive please!

10 bucks for one song 7 May 2011

I am a huge Mumford and Sons fan and a collector of vinyl/lps.
I bought the cave 45 for 2 reasons: the cover art and the B-side song "untitled."

To my knowledge the only way to get the song "untitled" is to either buy this 45 or buy the delux version of their albumn (which was recently released in the US.)

I wanted the song on vinyl, so I paid 10 bucks for one song and the cover art.
I don't think these 45s have been released in the US, so you will have to expect higher oversees shipping.

I love mumford and sons so I am very biast towards rating their music.
Both songs are on youtube if you want to hear "untitled." In my opinion it is good enough to go on their album, it's not on the b-side of a single because it is a bad song.

Cave [Vinyl] 3 April 2010

'The Cave' is my favorite of the Mumford & Sons singles, thus far. I love the juxtaposition between the annoyed attitude of the lyrics and rousing, almost happiness, of the music. These guys know how to write songs that are both enjoyable, not easily tiresome and still meaningful. Mumford & Sons will, hopefully, be around for a long...long time.
