This book is full of factual and interesting information that every cat owner needs or may need to know. The Catlopedia section for diagnosis of cat problems is spot on, as we have recently experienced our own sad loss of our beloved pet cat. Looking now at this book i may have spotted the signs earlier, definately one to have in your bookcase, for just in case.It makes looking for a cat problem simple by the "what if my cat" section, where you just look for the symptoms and it tells you which page. The information is accurate and up to date,

What this book lacks in cute colour photos it more than makes up for in reliable information. It is definitely the "go to" book for any cat problem. Especially good is the section on illnesses and symptoms - it has much more detailed information than any other book I have encountered, which enables you to make the "to vet or not to vet" decision with a degree of confidence.

This is a great reference book, which I have found very useful on several occasions, having cats myself. I would suggest every cat owner should have this, as well as a few other key reference books.
